When everyone thinks your sister committed suicide, it’s hard to prove she was murdered.
Kim is unable to accept Charley’s sudden death. Crippled by an unnatural amnesia, her questions are met with wall after wall. As she doubts her sanity, she realises her investigation is putting those around her in danger.
The only person who seems to know anything is Matthew, an elusive stranger who would rather vanish than talk. Despite his friendly smile, Kim isn’t sure she can trust him. But if she wants to protect her family from further danger, Kim must work with Matthew to discover how Charley died – before it’s too late.
Clare Davidson is a self-motivated, character driven fantasy writer, mother, teacher and all-round creative whizz, from the UK. Clare was born in Northampton, but spent her early years living in Malaysia, before coming home and settling with her family in Leeds. After spending time at Lancaster University where she met her husband, Clare has now returned to Leeds with husband, daughter, new baby son, crazy puppy Rukia and Pirate the white cat in tow. In between being a full-time mother, wife and domestic goddess (in theory) and being plagued by various animals, Clare is the author of the fantasy book Trinity and more recently, the urban fantasy series Hidden. Her aim is to drag you into her fantasy worlds and never let you go. She's evil that way!

Charley’s lying on the bed, her blond hair fanned out over the pillow. Her arms are spread wide, palms up. Crimson blood drips from deep slashes on her wrists. Her blue eyes are open, staring at the ceiling. But they don't see. They're dull, empty.
Dead.
The room spins. My stomach lurches and bile rises up my throat. I swallow and clap my hand to my mouth. Sagging against the doorframe, I can’t tear my gaze from the single lock of hair resting over Charley’s porcelain cheek. What should I do?
Charley would know what to do.
As I stumble down the stairs, my mind clicks into gear. A scream rips out of my throat, eclipsing the pounding music. My foot slips on the beige carpet, sending me tumbling down the remaining stairs. My shoulder and back slam against the wall. I scramble to my feet, screaming, sobbing, then stagger into the hallway, colliding into a young man with the darkest eyes I’ve ever seen.
My own force knocks me backwards. His strong grip clenches my arm, preventing me from falling. I try to scream again, but the sound is trapped within my constricting chest. My sister is dead. A stranger is in my house.

The numbers don't lie. They've always been there and they've never changed or been wrong until now. Why they disappeared Tavian and I will never know. This is the continuation of book one Exp1re. This is not a standalone as you will surely be lost without reading book one.

In true Erin Noelle fashion my emotions are on overload. This series changed me in all of the best ways. Life as I know it has changed for the better all because of the words that this author shared with the world.

Lyra and Tavian are now home from Italy and both in different states. Without realizing it Lyra gave her heart and soul to the man who brought her out of her shell. The world looks different and feels different. She can actually look people in the eye and smile. She has learned to accept the numbers.

Finding their way back to each other poses problems and issues that will take everything they have to conquer. With hearts and souls entwined can these two survive all that is trying to tear them apart? Can they survive the numbers?

This series is a must read and fell into my lap at the perfect time. I highly recommend this book and encourage you to buy the series

Matilde is part of a prominent shifter family. Her mother sets Matilde on the task on finding some dirt on her uncle (her moms brother). She doesn’t have many friends but this tight knit group of raven shifters are all she has. She is reluctant to betray them.

Heritage is a novella and gives some background on the characters in upcoming books. It lays a good foundation for the series and I feel gives you insight into what will happen in the future. I can’t wait to see where this story will go.

New Review! Human Nature by Rachel Renee 4 Cranky Stars

Human Nature: Savannah PD Series Book 2 by Rachel Renee is an amazing read. This one picks up where the first book left off. Eliza and her crew of detectives are dealing with a loss of one of their own. They also have to solve a series of murders that are threatening the peaceful town of Savannah.

This story had great character growth, and personal development between all the characters. My only issue with the book is that there was more telling than showing. I will recommend this to others.

Savannah PD Series Book 1 by Rachel Renee is a good read. I love murder mysteries, and this was one great. It starts off with a mystery that Detective Eliza Sheppard and her crew have to solve. What I really enjoyed about this story is that it is face paced. The action doesn’t slow down at all. Eliza is a strong female character who proves that she is prone to the occasional mistake and feeling emotions.

While Rachel Renee is a talented writer, the only thing I did not like about the story is that it was basically all tell and no showing. This did take me out of the story for a bit. I will recommend this story to others.

New Review! Spicy Sweets by AM Willard 5 Cranky Stars

Spicy Sweets (A Taste of Love, #4)Spicy Sweets by A.M. Willard

Natasha's life revolves around work and her lists. Oh and her baby, her car that's being held hostage at Diesel's shop. With the help of her bestie Morgan and one promised date with her cars captor she finally gets her baby back.

Diesel owns his own garage and is good at what he does. He get knocked for a loop when Natasha storms in like she owns the place. Just one encounter and he's done for. Add in sweet little Cassidy, Diesel's daughter and Natasha will agree to almost anything for these two. A whirlwind romance and some sticky situations make this an amazing book to read.

As with the other three books in this series the friendships are the cornerstone and foundation of their lives. I loved the interaction between characters and how when each found their HEA the men were integrated into the group. Their tight knit group of 4 grew by leaps and bounds. Of the four books in this series I loved this one best. I felt pulled into the story and the emotions evoked within me make this an absolute must read. I laughed and cried and by the end my heart was pieced back together. Kudos to author AM Willard for writing such an amazing ending to a great series.

New Review! Heated Sweets by AM Willard 4 Cranky Stars

Frankie has been battling a hidden disease for years. She has had numerous surgeries and feels like she's slowly dying inside. Life continues to go on around her and she can't take it anymore. So she runs, just like she always does.

Evan is the single dad that just moved in down the street. He crashes into Frankie's life by chance and now will never let her go. He wants to be there for her through everything. She is his soulmate
and he will fight for her.

This was the story that I looked forward to most. Frankie's battle mirrors my own in so many ways. She is hurting on the inside and putting on a brave face on the outside. I wish the author would have taken more time with this story as parts just felt rushed. While I appreciate AM taking the time to delve into a touchy subject and with class no less, the story felt incomplete.

Zara dances to the beat of her own drum. What works for most, most certainly doesn't work for her. She has loved Hatcher forever but doesn't see the need to get married. Life is good just the way it is or so she thinks.

Hatcher is head over heals for Zara. She's crazy and quirky and completes him in a way he never imagined. Now if he can just get that ring on her finger.

I did love this story and the friendships within. The way that they all circle the wagons to help each other when needed is amazing. AM Willard shows us that life is messy and the messier it is the more beautiful it becomes. The only thing that kind of bugged me was that it felt rushed. I still have some lingering questions. All in all its a great series and I feel like i have new fictional friends.
