New Review! Blackout by Heather Osborne, 5 Cranky Stars

Blackout (Rae Hatting Mysteries, #3)Blackout by Heather Osborne
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

***** 5 Cranky Stars *****

This book is the author's love letter to her fans. As always, the author gives the reader a well written action packed mystery story. The brave, kick ass Rae Hatting once again is asked to put it all on the line to stop a serial killer bent on killing everyone in his or her way. The cast and crew of theater groups on opening night are the latest victims of this killer.

The reader sees Rae as a strong person who loves family. She loves her family so much she doesn't let anyone in. She fears that the crazy people she hunts would harm those who get close to her. It's not a stretch because in the past this very thing has happened to her handsome partner, Luke.

Can Rae keep the people she loves safe while hunting down a obsessive person who has already killed one actress and is ready to kill others for the warped view of reality? The three points of view are a great plus. I loved that the author let use into the mindset of the killer as well.

I am glad I read this book and will continue reading this series which next book will be about Grace, Rae's adopted daughter. Such a wonderful novel. I recommend it to all that love suspense.
